Swan's Nest is in Belford. It's one of two cottages in a small courtyard next to the pub, which we own. The courtyard has some outdoor seating and a shared barbecue area.
The cottage sleeps four. Three bedrooms, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean without being high-end.
Belford has a couple of pubs, a supermarket about five minutes walk away, and some small shops. The museum sometimes has exhibitions.
For the coast, you're about ten minutes by car. Bamburgh Castle is close, and you can see Holy Island from the mainland. The beach at Bamburgh is huge. Seahouses is the place for boat trips to the Farne Islands if you want to see the puffins.
Inland, you've got St Cuthbert's Cave for a walk, and the Northumberland National Park isn't far. The bus from the village goes to Seahouses and Bamburgh if you don't want to drive.
Facilities included are a cot, highchair, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are provided. Pets are welcome.
