Percy Cottage is my place in Chatton. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's a small cottage, all on one level. The bedroom has a big bed. The shower room is modern. The living room has a wood burner in the fireplace. The kitchen is compact but has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's underfloor heating throughout.
You have a little private garden out the front. It looks over the village.
The local pub is right next door. They do food. The village shop is a short walk. Wooler is about four miles away for bigger shops.
It's a good spot for walking. St. Cuthbert's Way goes through here. You're about halfway between the coast and the hills. The coast at Bamburgh is a 20-minute drive. Alnwick and its castle are about half an hour away.
You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking.
