Flossy's House is in Chatton, which is a village in Northumberland. It's a two bedroom cottage that sleeps four.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-finished. It's not huge, but it feels spacious inside. There's one bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they’re a bit steeper than modern ones. That's normal round here.
You have a small, private garden area out the back. It gets the evening sun. There's parking for one car on the drive.
Chatton itself is quiet. There's a village shop and a pub, The Percy Arms, which is a few minutes' walk away. They do food. Wooler is about four miles away for bigger shops, a chemist, and a few more places to eat.
You’re in a good spot here. The Northumberland coast is about a 20 minute drive. Seahouses and Bamburgh are the main places to go. You can get boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses. The castle at Bamburgh is hard to miss. For walking, you’re close to the Cheviot Hills and St Cuthberts Way. The Northumberland National Park starts just outside the village.
If you're looking for a day out, Chillingham Castle is about ten minutes away by car. They do tours. Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden are about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: it has wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. It's fine for two well-behaved dogs. There's no bath, just the downstairs shower.
