Moor View is on a working farm just outside Belford. It's one of four cottages in a terrace. You're on your own, but there are neighbours attached.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is ensuite to the main bedroom. It's a 3 Star place. It's been done up recently, so it's clean and tidy, nothing fancy.
You can bring one dog. The garden is yours to use. It looks out over the moor at the back, which is nice and open. From the front, on a clear day, you can see right across to Bamburgh Castle and the coast.
Belford village is about a mile away. It's got the basics: a couple of shops, a tea room, pubs that do food. For a big shop, you'd go to Alnwick or Berwick.
The coast is close. Bamburgh is six miles east. The beach there is massive. The castle is Bamburgh Castle, which is worth a visit. Holy Island is about a 20-minute drive, but you have to check the tide times.
Inland, you've got the Cheviot Hills. Wooler is ten miles west, good for walking or cycling. The Northumberland National Park starts not far from there.
Alnwick is 15 miles south. The castle and the famous Alnwick Garden are there. Berwick-upon-Tweed is the same distance north. It's a nice old town on the river.
Facilities are what you'd expect: parking, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You're on a farm, so you'll see sheep and tractors about.
