Moor View is a cottage on the edge of Belford. It’s part of a terrace of four, on a working farm. The views are good – out the back over the moor, and you can see the coast and Bamburgh from the front.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is en-suite to the main bedroom. It’s been done up recently. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
Belford village is just over a mile away. It’s got a couple of shops, a tea room, and pubs that do food. Bamburgh is about six miles east. The castle is there and the beach is very good. Wooler is ten miles the other way, good for walking or if you’re heading into the Cheviots.
Alnwick is about fifteen miles south. The castle and the gardens are worth a visit. Berwick-upon-Tweed is a similar distance north. If you want to go further, Newcastle and Edinburgh are both around an hour’s drive. The coast here is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For facilities, there’s a dishwasher, TV, parking, and a garden. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. It's a farm, so you’ll see sheep and the usual farm activity.
