The Mill House is in Warenford. It's a village off the A1, quiet. The cottage itself is a converted barn, so it's detached and has its own space. You get a garden area that runs down to a stream.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The village is small. There's a pub with a restaurant about thirty yards from the gate. For a proper shop, you need to go to Belford, about two miles away.
You're about four miles from Budle Bay and the coast. Bamburgh is five miles one way, with its castle and that long beach. Seahouses is the other way, maybe ten minutes by car. That's where the boats go out to the Farne Islands.
You can get to Holy Island, Alnwick Castle, or Berwick-upon-Tweed in under half an hour. The Cheviot Hills are about a twenty-five minute drive inland if you fancy a change from the coast.
On the site, there's a shared hard tennis court you can use. There's also a small sauna and gym building near the cottages.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
