Cloggy Nook Tughall

It's called Cloggy Nook. It's up in Brunton, Northumberland. A quiet little hamlet.

The cottage sleeps four two. Two double bedrooms, both on the ground floor. One has an en suite shower, the other uses the main bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It was fully done up in December 2023. It's now pet-free.

The lounge has a gas log stove in an inglenook fireplace with some high beams. The kitchen is a step down from the lounge. There's an old arched window in there.

Outside, you've got an enclosed patio area right outside the doors. There's also a bigger garden next to it with mature trees. The views are out over farmland towards the sea.

Facilities wise: you've got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.

The nearest shop, pub, and restaurant are about three miles away in Beadnell. The beach at Beadnell is good, sandy. Seahouses is a few minutes further up the road. You can get boat trips from there to the Farne Islands to see the seals and birds.

For walks, you're right on the edge of the Northumberland Coast National Landscape. You can drive to Dunstanburgh Castle ruins in about fifteen minutes. Bamburgh Castle is about twenty minutes by car.
