Dunstanburgh View

Dunstanburgh View is one of two cottages at Proctors Stead Farm. It’s just inland from Craster.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. There’s a wood burner in the living room.

You can see Dunstanburgh Castle from the windows. The view is over fields towards the sea.

It’s quiet here, but Craster village is less than a mile away. You can walk to the coast from there. The pub is about a mile, the shop is two.

Embleton Bay is a couple of miles north. It’s a good sandy beach. Seahouses is a bit further up the coast, where you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh village and its castle are about five miles away.

For a bigger town, Alnwick is seven miles inland. It’s got a castle and the Alnwick Garden.

Facilities: there’s a washing machine, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
