Crew House is in Craster, in a quiet cul-de-sac near the edge of the village. It's semi-detached. You've got your own garden, a mix of decking and a bit of lawn. You can see the sea from the back, and there's a view of the village green and the playpark from the front.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms. One is an ensuite to the main double. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The heating is underfloor, so it's warm underfoot.
The kitchen leads into a conservatory room with a sofa and a dining table. The main living room is through sliding doors. There are TVs in both. The stairs are normal.
You're about a three minute walk from the harbour. There's a shop and a pub about the same distance. The pub does food. The famous kippers are smoked here. You can walk straight onto the coastal path from the village.
Dunstanburgh Castle is a good walk up the coast. It's about a mile and a half. The ruins are right on the cliffs. English Heritage Dunstanburgh Castle.
Embleton Bay is a few miles south, it's a nice sandy beach. Seahouses is about six miles for boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. Bamburgh with its castle is about eight miles. Alnwick Castle and gardens are a twenty minute drive inland.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive. No pets.
