Rocky's Cottage in Dunstan is a two-up two-down semi-detached cottage. It sleeps four across two bedrooms, one king and one twin. There's one family bathroom upstairs.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and decent but don't expect luxury. The front door opens into a hallway, then you've got the main living and dining room, and a kitchen at the back. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside is an enclosed patio with a table and chairs and a BBQ. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The cottage is on the edge of Dunstan village. The local pub, The Ship Inn, is a few minutes' walk away. They do food. The coast path and the beach are also about a ten minute walk. Dunstanburgh Castle is right there on the coast. It's run by English Heritage.
Craster village is a mile up the coast. That's where you get the famous kippers. Seahouses is about a ten minute drive north. From there you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Alnwick is about fifteen minutes by car. You've got Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden there.
For walking, you're on the Northumberland Coast Path. The beaches are huge and often empty.
Included in the price: bed linen, towels, parking for one car on the driveway.
Not allowed: pets, smoking, groups under 25. It's a quiet spot.
