Craster View

Craster View is in Craster. It's right in the village, looking out over the harbour.

It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The house has been recently done up.

The main living room is at the front. Big windows look out to the sea. The kitchen is modern and has a breakfast bar. There's a patio garden out the back, which is walled. Three of the bedrooms have a sea view.

You can walk to the pub and the shop. The village is known for its kippers. If you turn left out of the door and walk up the lane, you're straight onto the footpath to Dunstanburgh Castle. It's a cliff-top walk, about a mile and a half. English Heritage: Dunstanburgh Castle.

Alnwick is about ten minutes by car. That's where Alnwick Castle and the garden are. Alnwick Castle. The town has shops and places to eat.

For a bigger beach, you can drive to Embleton or Beadnell. The coast road goes up to Bamburgh and Holy Island. The Northumberland Coast Path runs right past. Northumberland Coast Path.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the drive. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
