Bramble Cottage

Bramble Cottage is in Craster, which is a small fishing village on the Northumberland coast. It's a terraced cottage, so it's attached to others on the street. It sleeps five across three bedrooms. There's one proper bathroom.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's been done up to a good standard. It's clean, tidy, and everything works.

The garden is nice. It's got a patio bit and loads of shrubs. There's also a summerhouse out there. The stairs inside are normal cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.

You get parking for one car on the private drive. If you bring a second car, or have visitors, they'll need to use the public car park. That's about 200 yards away and it costs £6.50 a day. It gets busy in summer.

The village itself is tiny. The shore is a two-minute walk. The pub, a shop, and the kipper smokery are about 150 yards away. The harbour is close by. You can see Dunstanburgh Castle from there.

For beaches, Embleton Bay is three miles north. It's a big sandy one. Beadnell is another mile or so on for water sports. Seahouses, where you get boats to the Farne Islands, is about six miles.

Alnwick is about seven miles inland if you need more shops. The castle and Alnwick Garden are there. Bamburgh, with its castle, is up the coast.

Facilities: there's a wood burner, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
