Grey Croft
Grey Croft is in Christon Bank. It's a stone detached house, so no neighbours through the wall. You've got your own garden, which is enclosed.
It sleeps eight across four bedrooms, all doubles. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs and a shower room upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are a normal sort.
There's a local pub about 300 yards away. The nearest shop and restaurant are about two miles away, in Embleton. Embleton also has a very good sandy beach, that's about two miles away too.
Up the coast, Craster is famous for its kippers, about five miles. Seahouses, which is about eight miles, is where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. The harbour trips are run by National Trust Farne Islands.
Alnwick is a few miles inland. The castle is worth a visit and they have the big Alnwick Garden with its water features. The castle was used in the Harry Potter films.
The whole coast here is good for walking. It's a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
In the house you've got two living rooms, both with gas fires. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
