Blue Caps is in Beadnell, in a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a detached bungalow. That means everything is on one floor, which is good if you don't fancy stairs.
It sleeps eight. Four double bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom or shower room. That's the main thing about it. The layout is split into two wings, so it's quite good if you've got two families or a group wanting a bit of space.
The living area is open plan with a woodburner. French doors go out to a south-facing patio, which is fully enclosed. It gets the sun.
Beadnell itself is small. The local shop is a few minutes' walk. There are a couple of pubs that do food, also within walking distance. The beach is about a ten minute walk. It's a sandy beach, good for water sports if that's your thing.
Seahouses is two miles up the road. That's where you get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh, with its castle, is about five miles. The castle at Alnwick and the gardens are roughly a twenty minute drive inland.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're planning walks or days out, the Northumberland Coast National Landscape site has good information.
