Blue Caps is in Beadnell. It's a detached bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. It's south-facing so the patio gets the sun.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, all doubles, and four bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The layout is a bit different. Two bedrooms are off the living room, and the other two are off the dining area. It's good if you've got friends or family who might want a bit of separation.
There's a shop about 300 yards away. A couple of pubs and places to eat are about the same distance. The beach is a 10-minute walk. It's a long sandy beach, good for a walk or if you're into water sports. There's a smaller, rockier bay even closer.
Seahouses is two miles up the coast. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the birds and seals. Bamburgh, with its castle, is about three miles further. Holy Island is visible from the beach, but you need to check the tide times to drive over.
Alnwick is a few miles inland. The castle is there, and the Alnwick Garden is worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
What's here: parking on the drive, an enclosed patio garden with a BBQ, a woodburner, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
