Spindrift
This is Spindrift. It's a first floor apartment right on the seafront in Seahouses. The view is straight out to sea and the Farne Islands. You can't really miss it.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, both with king size beds and their own ensuite bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's done up well, with good quality stuff. Solid floors, decent kitchen. It feels clean and new.
The main thing is the view. Two big windows in the living room look straight out. There's a door to a small patio with chairs, so you can sit outside with your coffee and watch the boats. You can see Bamburgh Castle down the coast from there too.
Everything in Seahouses is a short walk away. Couple of hundred yards to the harbour, pubs, shops, places to eat. The boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from there. Good for seeing puffins and seals.
You can walk to Bamburgh along the beach. It's about two miles. The beach is massive and often quiet. Budle Bay is a bit further for birdwatching when the tide's out.
Alnwick is about a twenty minute drive inland. The castle and the gardens are there. The treehouse restaurant in the gardens is a thing.
As part of the stay, you get membership to The Ocean Club in the village. That's for the indoor pool, spa, and gym if you want it.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed. All bedding and towels are included.
