Cleets Retreat is a bungalow in Seahouses. It's stone-built, semi-detached, and on a quiet cul-de-sac. You can walk into the centre of the village in a few minutes.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. All on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. You can park right outside.
Seahouses is a proper seaside village. There's a long, sandy beach. The harbour is working, and that's where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals. There are fish and chip shops, cafes, the usual stuff. A shop and a pub are about five minutes walk away.
If you drive, you can get to Holy Island, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway. Alnwick Castle is about half an hour inland. Bamburgh Castle is even closer, it's just down the coast.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: wifi, a TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
For planning days out, these sites are useful: National Trust Northumberland and Northumberland National Park.
