Merrywind
Merrywind is in Beadnell. It's a detached house, about twenty yards from the beach. You can see the sea from the front.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything feels new and clean.
The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for colder evenings. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. You can hear the sea from out there.
Beadnell itself is small. There's a village shop and a couple of pubs that do food. The beach is sandy and long. People go windsurfing and kayaking there.
Seahouses is about a mile along the coast. You can get boat trips to the Farne Islands from the harbour there. It's good for seals and seabirds. Seahouses has more shops and places to eat.
Bamburgh is three miles north. The castle is the main thing to see. Alnwick is about eight miles inland. Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are there if you fancy a day out. Driving to Holy Island takes about half an hour, but you must check the tide times for the causeway.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
