Belford House @ Seahouses
Belford House is in Seahouses, near the harbour. It's a townhouse in a quiet courtyard, one of a small group built fairly recently. It's on a corner so it gets a good view of the sea.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kitted out. The layout is over three floors. The living space is all open plan on the first floor, with a Juliet balcony you can open for the sea air. There's a wood burner in there. Two of the double bedrooms are on the ground floor with a bathroom. The main bedroom with its ensuite is up on the second floor. That one has a dressing area and the best sea view.
You've got on-site parking, which is handy for Seahouses. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and a highchair. Wifi is included. The place is all electric.
You can bring one dog. The beach and the harbour are just a short walk away. There's a local pub nearby too. We have a corporate membership for the Ocean Club leisure centre in the village. Guests still pay to use it, but at a reduced rate, it's £9.50 per adult. You just need to show your booking confirmation at reception.
For local trips, Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes up the road. The Farne Islands boat trips leave from the harbour. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour inland. Holy Island is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.
