Dunlin

Dunlin is a cottage in Beadnell. It's right on the coast. The big thing is the sea view. The main living room is upstairs to make the most of it. You can see right across to the Farne Islands.

It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without being high-end.

Out the back there's a sun room that leads to a private, enclosed garden. It's a quiet spot.

You're a few minutes' walk from Beadnell beach. The village has a couple of pubs. For groceries, you'd drive to Seahouses, which is about two miles away.

The main attractions are the coast and the history. You can walk to Beadnell's lime kilns. The Farne Islands boat trips leave from Seahouses. That's where you see the puffins and seals. Bamburgh Castle is about a ten minute drive north. Holy Island is maybe twenty minutes away, but you have to check the tide times.

For a longer drive, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are within half an hour. The Northumberland National Park starts inland from there.

What's here: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
