Cowry Cottage
Cowry Cottage is in Beadnell, which is a village right on the coast. It's a semi-detached house, part of a small modern development of holiday cottages. It looks out over a field.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite to the main bedroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable.
The beach is about a two-minute walk away. It's a long sandy one, good for kids and dogs. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about 300 yards from the cottage.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. Patio doors lead out to an enclosed garden at the back. The stairs have a stairgate at the top.
For things to do nearby, the whole coast is good for walking. National Trust Northumberland Coast has loads of information. Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes by car. Seahouses is the next village along, where you can get boat trips to the Farne Islands.
Alnwick is about a twenty-minute drive. You've got Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden there. For a longer trip, Holy Island is about half an hour away, but you need to check the tide times.
In terms of what's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
