The Five Fishers Beadnell
The Five Fishers is in Beadnell, a little coastal village in Northumberland. It's a semi-detached bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. That's handy if stairs aren't your thing. It's at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has its own wet room, and there's a separate family bathroom too. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. The place has been redone recently so it's fresh and clean.
There's an enclosed patio garden out the back. It gets the sun in the evening. You can sit out there.
Beadnell itself is small. There's a local pub about a five minute walk away. The bay has a long sandy beach. It's good for walking, swimming if you're brave, and kite surfing seems popular. The harbour is nice.
Seahouses is the next village along, maybe two miles. You can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands from there to see the seabirds and seals. That's worth doing. National Trust Farne Islands.
Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes by car. It's impressive, right on the coast. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are maybe half an hour's drive south. Craster, for kippers and a walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, is about twenty minutes.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
