Taikoo
This is Taikoo, in Beadnell. It's a three-storey house in a quiet cul-de-sac. You're about five minutes walk from the beach, which is a long, sandy one. Good for kids and dogs.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the top floor and it has views out to sea. You can see Dunstanburgh Castle from one window and Bamburgh Castle from the other if the weather's clear. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The living area is open plan on the ground floor. There are patio doors that open to an enclosed garden at the back. It's not huge, but it's secure. The stairs are standard for a house like this.
Beadnell itself is small. There's a local pub that does food. For shops, you'd drive to Seahouses, which is about two miles away. That's where you get boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.
You're right on the coast for walking. The beach is obvious, but the Northumberland Coast Path runs through here. Bamburgh Castle is a ten minute drive north. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about twenty minutes south. Holy Island is maybe half an hour, but you have to check the tide times.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
