Church Cottage is in Beadnell, in the middle of the village. It's stone-built, double-fronted, and faces the church. You get an enclosed garden out the back which is handy.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating now after a refurbishment. It's comfortable and clean.
There's a wood burner in the living room. Patio doors lead to that garden. On the practical side, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking on site, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Pets are welcome.
You're right in the village, so the local pub is a short walk. The beach is a few minutes away on foot. It's a proper sandy beach with a bay, good for swimming and families.
In terms of places to go, you're well set. Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes up the road. Seahouses is just along the coast for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is about a twenty minute drive, but you must check the tide times.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got Alnwick Castle and gardens, and the market town of Alnwick itself. Northumberland National Park, like the Ingram Valley area, is also within that drive.
