Millkeepers Lodge Spindlestone Mill

Millkeepers Lodge is in Waren Mill. It's part of the old Spindlestone Mill buildings. It's detached and the garden is yours.

It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's very comfortable but not a show home. It's kept clean. The conversion was done well. It feels solid.

You're about a mile from the beach. Bamburgh is three miles up the road. The village has a good shop, a couple of pubs, and the castle obviously. The sea view from the castle is worth it.

The garden is enclosed. There's a decked area at the back where you can sit. You can hear the water from the mill race.

Inside, there's a games room, which is useful if the weather turns. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.

You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a stairgate and a cot if you need them.

For days out, you're close to a lot. The Northumberland coast path is all along there. Holy Island is about a twenty minute drive, but check the tide times. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour inland. Up the coast, Seahouses is where you get boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the puffins.
