Millkeepers Lodge Spindlestone Mill
Millkeepers Lodge is at Spindlestone Mill, near Waren Mill. It used to be part of the old grain stores here. It sleeps ten people, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is big and open inside because of what it was. It's been done up recently so everything feels quite new. There are two double bedrooms and three that can be either twins or doubles, which is handy.
Outside, there's a fully enclosed garden area which is good for kids and dogs. It leads up to a raised deck with a table. You can sit up there and hear the water from the mill race going by. It's a constant background sound.
You're about a mile from the beach. It's a quiet spot. Bamburgh village is under three miles away. You can see the castle from parts of the coast path. The beach at Bamburgh is huge.
For day trips, Holy Island is about a fifteen minute drive, but you have to check the tide times. Seahouses is close for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are within half an hour.
In terms of stuff here, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. We provide bedding and towels. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
