Waren View

This is Waren View. It's in Warenford, a small village in Northumberland. It's one of a pair of cottages attached together, but you've got your own space. The garden is shared with the other cottages, but there's a big lawned area by a stream everyone can use.

It sleeps five people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. You can bring one dog.

The cottage is all on one floor inside, which some people prefer. There's a parking space right outside.

There's a pub with a restaurant about thirty yards away. The nearest proper shop is in Belford, a couple of miles down the road. The coast is about five miles east. Bamburgh beach is huge and sandy, and the castle is there too. Seahouses is a bit further, that's where you get the boats to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.

If you want to go inland, the Cheviot Hills are right there for walking. Berwick-upon-Tweed is about a twenty minute drive north. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about twenty minutes south. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is nearby too, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.

For facilities, it's got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The owners have also built a small gym and a sauna near the cottages that guests can use, and there's a shared hard tennis court.
