Quarryman's Cottage

Quarryman's Cottage is in Belford. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps five. It's got thick stone walls, so it feels solid and quite cosy.

There's an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. The stairs are steep, because it's an old cottage. You've got two bathrooms, which is handy. One is a shower room off the garden room.

The garden at the back is enclosed. It's a nice spot to sit. You get the sun in the afternoon.

Belford has a couple of pubs, a shop, and a coffee shop, all within walking distance. The bus from the village goes to the coast, to places like Seahouses and Bamburgh.

The coast is about three miles away. You've got Bamburgh Castle and miles of beach. Holy Island is a short drive away, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway. The Farne Islands boat trips from Seahouses are good for seeing puffins. St Cuthbert's Cave is nearby for a walk.

For planning, the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast sites are useful.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. There's parking for one car on the street outside.
