Paddock Cottage is here on the farm, about two miles north of Alnwick. It's an old farmworker's cottage. We've got a mixed farm with cows, horses, and three pigs. The pigs are called Prudence, Portia, and Primrose. You'll see them about.
The cottage sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not fancy. There's an open fire you can use.
You're down a country lane, so it's quiet. The views from the cottage are good, over the fields. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids. We allow up to three pets.
You're two miles from Alnwick for shops and pubs. The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Lots of good beaches that way, like Bamburgh and Alnmouth.
There are castles everywhere. Alnwick Castle is the closest, obviously. A bit further up the coast you've got Bamburgh Castle and then Dunstanburgh Castle if you like walking the coast to see it. For a big day out, Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot hills are half an hour or so inland.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
We've got another cottage here, Cheviot View, and one called Snowshill. You can book them together if you've got a bigger group.
