Stable Cottage is on a cul-de-sac just outside Alnwick town centre. It used to be a stable and hay loft. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden. The garden is enclosed and gravelled, which is good if you've got a dog or kids.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxury. The ceilings are low in places because of the beams. The pine staircase is quite steep, as you'd expect from a loft conversion.
You can walk into Alnwick in about five minutes. There are shops and pubs there. The theatre and cinema are a short walk. The leisure centre and The Alnwick Garden are about ten minutes on foot.
The coast is about four miles away. Alnmouth and Boulmer are the closest beaches. For a bigger beach day, Bamburgh is about twenty minutes drive north. Dunstanburgh Castle is a good walk from Craster, which is a fifteen minute drive.
The cottage has parking. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine. It says there's a games room, it's a shed with a pool table in it. It's fine for a bit of fun.
