Wagtail Cottage
Wagtail Cottage is in Lesbury. It's a terraced cottage in a row of four. It used to be farm workers' homes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-finished and comfortable. There’s a wood burning stove, which is good for cooler evenings.
Outside, there’s a patio garden at the back. It's enclosed. You can sit out there.
Lesbury itself is quiet. You can walk down the River Aln to Alnmouth on the coast. It’s about two miles. Alnmouth has a nice beach, some pubs, and tea rooms.
Alnwick Castle and its gardens are four miles inland. They're worth a visit. Warkworth, with its castle ruins, is a few miles away. Amble is a bit further, about a ten minute drive. They have a good Sunday market. For a walk, you can drive to Craster for the coast path.
The cottage has a parking space. Pets are welcome, up to two. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
