Waterside is in Warkworth. It's right on the River Coquet, maybe twenty feet from the bank. You get the river on one side and Warkworth Castle on the other. It's a modern house in a small terrace.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which just means it's well-finished and has everything. There's a proper enclosed garden with a patio, which gets the sun.
The village centre is a few minutes' walk away. There's a shop about 600 yards up the road, and a couple of pubs even closer. You don't really need the car once you're here.
The beach is less than a mile away. It's a big sandy one that runs for miles. You can walk to it along the river path from the house.
For days out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about six miles. Boat trips to Coquet Island for the birds go from Amble, which is two miles down the road. Craster and its kippers are about a twenty minute drive north. The Northumberland National Park is half an hour inland if you want proper hills.
The house is set up for kids. There's a cot, a highchair, a stairgate, and some toys and games left in the cupboard. All bedding and towels are included.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, parking. There's a BBQ in the garden. No pets, I'm afraid.
