The Loft
The Loft is a first floor apartment in Warkworth village. It's up a flight of external stairs in a courtyard. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean.
You're right in the middle of the village. The shop and a couple of pubs are about fifty yards away. The river is even closer, just across the road. It's a good spot to sit and watch the water.
Warkworth Castle is the main thing here. It's a proper castle ruin you can walk to in two minutes. The beach is about a mile down the road. It's a long, sandy beach that goes for miles. If you drive two miles to Amble harbour, you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island to see the puffins and seals.
Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about ten minutes away by car. Craster, for kippers and a walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, is about twenty minutes up the coast. The whole Northumberland coast is easy from here.
Inside, there's a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate fitted if you need it. The shower is over the bath. Parking is on the street outside the courtyard, which is usually fine.
