Teal House

Teal House is in Amble, a small fishing town on the Northumberland coast. It's a modern house on a small development, about a 15 minute walk from the harbour and high street.

It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean, comfortable and does the job.

The garden is enclosed and private, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two pets.

Amble itself is friendly and busy. The harbour has a Sunday market where locals buy fish. There are good fish and chip shops and an ice cream shop with a long list of flavours. You can get boat trips from the harbour out to Coquet Island to see the puffins and other seabirds. The beach is about a mile away.

The historic village of Warkworth is two miles down the road. You can walk along the river and see the castle. It's nice. Alnwick is about a 20 minute drive. The castle and gardens there are worth a visit. The treehouse restaurant is a spectacle.

You're right on the edge of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beaches and coastline here are very quiet and unspoiled. There are miles of paths for walking and cycling.

For facilities, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a shop about 300 yards away and a pub serving food about 800 yards away.
