Harbour Lodge is in Amble. It's about a hundred yards from the harbour, at the end of a stone terrace.
It sleeps seven, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating.
The place is on three floors. The kitchen and utility room are on the ground floor. The washing machine and dryer are in there, which is handy for coats and boots. The living room is on the first floor. It has doors out to a small, enclosed balcony. You can sit out there with a coffee. The bedrooms are on the first and top floors. One of the bedrooms is a family room that looks out towards the sea.
The stairs are standard for a new-ish house. Not steep like an old cottage.
You're right by the harbour in Amble. It's a working port, so there's always something to look at. The town has shops and places to eat. The property listing says two dogs are allowed.
From there, you can walk along the coast. Northumberland's beaches are massive. Alnmouth is about ten minutes down the road by car. Warkworth and its castle are very close. Druridge Bay and its country park are a short drive south. For a longer day out, you can get up to Bamburgh, Alnwick Garden, or the Farne Islands for the seabirds, all within half an hour.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and a cot and highchair if you need them.
