Broughs House

Broughs House is in Broomhill. It's semi-detached. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating so it's comfortable and clean. You can bring one dog.

The garden is yours and there's parking right outside. Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

You're a couple of miles from the coast. The beach at Amble is about three miles away. It's a working harbour town with places to eat and a Sunday market. From there you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island, which is an RSPB bird sanctuary.

Warkworth is five miles up the road. The castle there is impressive. Further up the coast you've got Seahouses, Bamburgh, and Holy Island. You have to check the tide times for Holy Island. All that coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Alnwick is ten miles inland. The castle is worth a visit, they filmed Harry Potter there. The gardens are good in summer. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour's drive west if you're interested in that.

There's a shop just over a mile away and a restaurant about two and a half miles. Alnmouth station is a few miles down the road if you fancy a day trip to Newcastle or Edinburgh by train.
