The cottage is a short walk from the high street and the harbour. You can leave the car. There's a small enclosed patio at the back.
Inside, the living room has a wood burner in a big inglenook fireplace. The kitchen is a good size, with integrated appliances. It works well. Upstairs, there's a king size room and a twin room, both with a TV on the wall. The shower room is new.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking.
Amble's a fishing town. You can walk along the harbour, see the boats, and get to the marina and a small beach. There are a few fish restaurants and cafes. Warkworth village is two miles away. It has a castle and some good pubs. The beach is nearby.
Alnwick is about a 15 minute drive. The castle and the gardens are there. Further up the coast, Seahouses is where you get boats out to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh village is a bit further, with its castle and a long beach.
