This is Kittiwakes. It's on a quiet street in Amble, about a ten minute walk from the harbour. It's a terraced house.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got two doubles, so it suits two couples as much as a small family. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's got a proper enclosed garden, which is good for having a coffee outside, or if you've brought the dogs. We take up to two pets.
Amble is a working fishing town. It's small and people are friendly. You can walk from the house to the harbour, the local shops, a couple of pubs and some fish and chip places. There's a small beach about half a mile away.
From the harbour you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island to see the puffins and other seabirds. It's run by the RSPB.
Warkworth village is two miles down the road. It's got a good castle and a nice riverfront. Alnwick is about a fifteen minute drive. The castle is famous, and the gardens are impressive. The treehouse restaurant at the Alnwick Garden is worth seeing.
The coastline around here is really good. It's part of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are long, quiet beaches and lots of paths for walking. You can drive up to Bamburgh or down to Druridge Bay easily.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Beds are made up for you and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. You can park right outside.
