Herons Rest is in Hadston, about a twenty minute walk from Druridge Bay beach. It's a semi-detached house, sleeps three. There's a garden out the back that gets the sun, it's enclosed.
Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The bathroom is downstairs. The entrance and main living space are on the ground floor too, which helps if steps are difficult.
Hadston village is a couple of minutes away. There's a supermarket, a post office, and a few takeaways. For a bigger shop or a proper wander, Amble is a short drive. It's a decent little harbour town with cafes and pubs. They do a market on Sundays.
The location is the main thing. You're right by Druridge Country Park. Good for a bike ride or a walk, plenty of birds. The beach is long and quiet, you can usually find a spot to yourself. For a day out, Northumberland Coast has miles of it. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about fifteen minutes drive. Further up the coast you've got Craster, Seahouses, and Bamburgh.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
