Right, Dove Cottage. It's in Acklington, just inland from the coast. It's one of three cottages next to a small caravan site. The one for four people.
It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own shower room, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's all on one floor, which is good if you don't fancy stairs.
Out the back there's a fully enclosed garden area. It's private. You can let the dog out there. We allow two dogs.
There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair if you need one.
The location is the main thing. You're four miles from Druridge Bay, which is a long beach. Good for walks. Amble harbour is about three miles away. They've got cafes and shops there. Warkworth is close too, with its castle and a nice high street. Alnwick Castle and the gardens are about a twenty minute drive. That's the Harry Potter castle.
For a big day out, Holy Island is about an hour's drive. You have to check the tide times to get across. Newcastle is maybe forty minutes if you want a city trip. The whole Northumberland coast is right there, really.
The local pub is a mile away. The nearest shop is about three miles, so you'll want to pick up your groceries on the way.
