Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is in Acklington. It's a single-storey stone cottage, attached to two others on the side of a small caravan site. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
It has a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. Everything is on the ground floor. The layout is open plan.
Outside, there's a fully enclosed patio area at the back. It's private. You can park right outside.
Inside, you'll find a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local shop is three miles away. There's a pub about a mile away. Morwick Dairy, which does ice cream, is less than two miles from here. It's popular.
You're well placed for the coast. Druridge Bay Country Park is about three miles away. The beach at Druridge Bay is about four miles. It's a long, sandy beach.
Alnwick Castle is roughly ten miles away. That's the one used in Harry Potter. The towns of Warkworth and Amble are close. Amble has a working harbour with cafes. Warkworth has a castle and a nice high street.
Further afield, you have the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Hadrian's Wall, all within an hour's drive or so.
