The Arches is on our farm, just off the A1 near Burgham. It used to be a barn. We're on a quiet farm road. It's a single storey place, so no stairs. You get the decking area and hot tub to yourselves.
It sleeps five which is odd, I know. Two bedrooms, both have their own bathrooms. There's a third shower room off the hall. It's a 3 Star so it's clean and functional. You can bring one dog.
We're a working farm, so you'll see us and the animals about. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler nights. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot if you need it.
For getting about, you're very close to the A1. The Burgham Park golf course is literally half a mile up the road if that's your thing. The nearest pub and a shop are in Felton, about two and a half miles. It's a nice village.
Morpeth is about fifteen minutes drive. They've got proper shops, parks, a swimming pool. Alnwick is maybe twenty minutes. The castle and gardens there are worth a visit. The beach at Druridge Bay is about twenty five minutes away.
You're well placed for a lot from here. Newcastle is under half an hour. Alnwick Castle and the coast like Craster and Bamburgh are within half an hour to forty minutes. For a longer day out, you can get to Hadrian's Wall or into Edinburgh in about an hour and a half if the traffic's alright.
