Griffon Lodge
Griffon Lodge is a lodge on the Eshott Estate. It's detached and sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and an electric car charger if you need it. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a raised deck that wraps around the lodge. It's got a hot tub. The lodge looks out over some trees, so there's a bit of privacy.
The estate is 40 acres. There's a lake you can walk around. There's an on-site restaurant and café a short walk away. For a pub, you'll need to drive to Felton, which is a couple of miles.
You're right next to the A1, so getting around is easy, but the estate itself is quiet.
Northumberland Zoo is half a mile down the road. Burham Park Golf Course is about the same distance.
Alnwick is about a 15 minute drive. You've got Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden there. Morpeth is a 20 minute drive south, it's a nice market town. The coast at places like Alnmouth is about a 20 minute drive away.
For longer days out, Newcastle city centre is about half an hour. Northumberland National Park is about 40 minutes west. Parts of Hadrian's Wall are within a 45 minute drive.
You can bring up to three dogs. There's on-site parking.
