Marina View is in Amble, right on the edge of town. It's a townhouse, one of a terrace. The main thing is the view out over the harbour towards Warkworth Castle. You can see it from the upstairs living room and the deck.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor, which is handy if stairs are a problem for anyone. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well finished and everything works.
You're a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre. There are bakeries, shops, cafes, and pubs. The locals are friendly. The Harbour Master hires out little beach huts on the quay for the day, which is a nice thing to do.
You can walk along the coast path to Warkworth in about half an hour. The castle is run by English Heritage. Boat trips to Coquet Island, which is a bird sanctuary, go from the harbour in summer.
Further out, Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about a fifteen minute drive. The Northumberland National Park and stretches of the coast like Alnmouth and Druridge Bay are within half an hour.
For facilities: parking is on site, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
