It's called Melrose. It's a ground floor apartment in Amble, right on the main road through town. You can walk to everything in a few minutes.
It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and clean. The main room is open plan.
Being on the ground floor is handy. There's private parking round the back, and a locked area for bikes or motorbikes if you need it.
You're about three quarters of a mile from the beach. The local shop is 500 yards away, and the nearest pub is about 300 yards. They're straightforward and useful.
Amble harbour is a five minute walk. There's a good market on Sundays. You can get boat trips from there out to Coquet Island to see the puffins. There are a couple of fish and chip shops right by the water.
You can walk to Warkworth along the river path. It's about a mile and a half. The castle there is worth a look. Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about a twenty minute drive.
If you head north up the coast, it's all part of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Craster, Bamburgh, and Holy Island are all within half an hour. Check the tide times for Holy Island.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, a shower, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is in the price. No pets.
