Wayside is in Amble. It's a terraced house, about a five-minute walk from the harbour and the high street. You can leave your car and just walk to everything in the town.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. One is a good double, the second is another double, and the third has bunk beds. There is one family bathroom. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and well kept. The stairs are standard for a house like this.
You've got a decent kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The living room leads through to it. Outside, there's a small enclosed patio area at the back and a front garden you can sit in.
Amble is a fishing town. The harbour is interesting, with boats coming and going. There are fish restaurants and pubs close by. You can rent a beach hut from the harbour master for the day.
Warkworth is two miles away. You can walk there along the river if you want. The castle is impressive. There are a couple of good pubs and a nice beach.
Alnwick is about a 15-minute drive. The castle is famous, and the Alnwick Gardens are worth a visit. Seahouses is further up the coast, maybe 25 minutes. From there you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh is next, with its castle right on the beach.
The house has an internet connection and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
