Castle View Warkworth
Castle View is in Warkworth on the Northumberland coast. It's a semi-detached house from the 1930s. We've done it up recently, so it's in good shape. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. The main bedroom and the single room look straight out at the castle. The other double looks over the back garden towards Amble and the sea.
The living room has big bay windows facing the cricket green and the castle. You can see it from there, and from the sun room at the back. The garden is fully enclosed, which is handy with dogs.
Warkworth itself is small. There's a good local shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and the castle is a five minute walk. The beach is about a mile away. Amble harbour is ten minutes in the car, or you can walk there along the river path.
For days out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about fifteen minutes drive. Cragside is half an hour. The long, quiet beaches at Druridge Bay are twenty minutes south. You're on the edge of Northumberland National Park for walking. The coast path is all along here.
Facilities: you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, parking for one car out front. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take up to two well-behaved dogs.
