Blackbird House is on Lisburn Street in Alnwick. It's a stone terraced house, Regency period I think. It's about a two minute walk into the town centre.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs are a typical cottage style, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
There's a small enclosed yard at the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. The living room has an open fire. We leave some wood for you to get started. The kitchen has a table to eat at.
There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and places to eat about 200 yards away. Alnwick Castle is a ten minute walk. The Alnwick Garden is about the same. Both are worth a visit.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive east. Alnmouth beach is good for a walk. You can get to Northumberland Coast spots like Craster or Bamburgh in under half an hour. Rothbury and the Northumberland National Park are about twenty minutes west.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking for one car on the street outside.
