Percy's Place

The location is the main thing. You're right in the centre of Alnwick. The shop, a few pubs, and restaurants are about a hundred yards away. The castle is a five minute walk. It's a good one. The Alnwick Garden is also close and worth the visit.
You're well placed to go out from here. The Northumberland coast is about a twenty minute drive east. You've got Alnmouth, Bamburgh, and Seahouses all along there. It's a great coastline for walking and beaches. To the west, you're into Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot hills for more serious walks.
Inside, it's all on one level. Open plan living area. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on site.
