Hillcroft

Hillcroft is in Alnwick town centre. It's a terraced house and it sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The stairs are steep and narrow. It's an old house, so that's just how they are.

You're right in the middle of things. The pub is about 200 yards away. Alnwick Castle is basically on your doorstep. The famous Alnwick Garden is a short walk. If you're into Harry Potter, the castle was used for some of the filming.

The coast is about ten minutes' drive away. Alnmouth has a nice beach. Further up, Seahouses is where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. Bamburgh Castle is along the coast from there.

Inland, you've got Rothbury and the Simonside Hills for walks. The Northumberland National Park isn't far if you want proper hiking.

The house has a small enclosed garden at the back. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
