Thistle Dee

This is Thistle Dee, in Wooler. It's a four-bedroom house on a quiet street, about five minutes walk from the town centre.

It sleeps seven. There are two bathrooms, and one of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor. The stairs are normal. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner in the front room, and a separate dining room.

You can park three cars off the road. There's a small side area with a bench, if you want to sit outside.

Wooler is a small market town. There are a few pubs, cafes, and shops all within a few hundred yards. The Ad Gefrin museum and distillery is just up the road, less than a ten minute walk.

For walking, you can pick up St Cuthbert's Way right from the door. It’s also on the Sandstone Way route if you're into mountain biking. The Cheviot Hills start just outside the town.

You can drive to the coast in about half an hour. Bamburgh Castle and beach are that way, and Holy Island is about a 25 minute drive, but you must check the tide times for the crossing. Berwick-upon-Tweed is also about 25 minutes north.

The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are included. We allow two well-behaved dogs.
