Whitton View Nr Wooler
It's called Whitton View and it's in Milfield, which is a small village. The cottage is stone-built and sits right on the roadside. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. The stairs are pretty standard, not too steep.
There's no garden, but you're right in the village. The Red Lion pub is a short walk away. It's an old coaching inn and they do food. There's also a shop and a little café. The café doubles as a tourist information point for Northumberland National Park.
You can arrange horse riding nearby at Kimmerston, which is about two miles. If you're feeling adventurous, you can book gliding lessons at the Milfield Gliding Club. Fishing permits for the River Till are available locally.
For places to visit, Wooler is about three miles away. The coast at Bamburgh and Seahouses is about a 20-minute drive. You've got Cragside and Hadrian's Wall both within half an hour by car. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is roughly the same.
Inside, you've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. The price includes electricity. It's available over Christmas.
