The Granary is up at West Moneylaws, just outside of Cornhill-on-Tweed. It's an upside-down house, which means the bedroom's on the ground floor. You can take your bags straight in through that front door, which is handy.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, and the bathroom leads off from there. Upstairs is the main living space. It's open plan, with a wood burner and a decent kitchen. The stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
Outside, there's a private patio area. You're looking out over fields. It's very quiet. The owners keep alpacas on the land, and you can arrange to take them for a walk if you fancy it.
Location is the main thing here. You're only a few minutes' drive from Berwick-upon-Tweed. For the coast, the beaches at Berwick and Goswick are good for long walks. Bamburgh is about twenty minutes south, and Holy Island is a bit further. Check the tide times for Holy Island before you go.
You can get to Edinburgh or Newcastle in just over an hour if you want a day in the city.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well finished. The facilities list is accurate: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
