Till Cottage

Till Cottage is up near Milfield, north of Wooler. It's part of an old farm that's been converted. You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park here. The views from the garden are really good.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well set up. The space inside is good for a group. It used to be a farm building, so the ceilings are nice and high.

You can walk or cycle straight from the door into the park. The coast is about twelve miles away. Places like Bamburgh and Seahouses. The border with Scotland is only seven miles. Wooler is five miles for a bigger shop.

There's a village pub and a shop not far from the cottage. They're handy.

For things to do: you're close to a lot of the big castles. Etal Castle is just down the road. Ford and Etal is a nice area to explore. Further up the coast you've got Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island, but check the tide times for that one.

Facilities are all there. Woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. The garden is enclosed. Parking is on site. You can bring up to three dogs.
